Additional notes
1) Any time you make a sale through one of your promos, you will earn a credit back (up to 10 credits max per promo). This allows successful merchants to continue running promotions without the need for any additional credits! For a Pro merchant, the cost to create a promo is just 2 credits ... so by making just 2 sales on that promo, it will have paid for itself. Make 10 sales and you can run 5 more promos without the need for more credits!
2) In order for your product to be visible in the marketplace and for you to be able to create promos, you must first submit your product for approval. Submitting your product for approval is free. Once your product is approved, it will remain in the marketplace as long as you maintain a merchant account.
3) Once your product has been approved, you can then create promos as often as you like. Each promo you create will cost some credits, but remember that you can earn all of your credits back (plus extra!) simply by making a few sales with your promo.
4) This is without question one of the most powerful components of PromoPit. Standard and Pro merchant accounts have the ability to offer 1 item for FREE from one of their approved products. This item will be given away on the front page of PromoPit through our unique FREE GRAB platform. We will even email all the unsuccessful "grabbers" with a special offer that YOU create! Great exposure AND a chance to make sales!
5) Standard merchants are allowed to have 1 FREE GRAB in the queue at any given time, while Pro merchants can have up to 3 different FREE GRABS in the queue at any given time. Using our FREE GRAB platform can be very powerful, and so the ability to have 3 of them queued up at the same time is a great advantage!
6) Standard and Pro merchants have the option to add an upsell to their products. When a buyer purchases a product, we would then take them to your upsell offer where you can try to make a second sale on a related product or service. And when you run a special promo on your product, you will be able to keep this upsell in place, change it around, or remove it completely!
7) Pro merchants can queue up promos in advance (up to 7 days) which allows for a constant stream of new promos without having to babysit their accounts. This is a great time saver, especially for active merchants!
8) When submitting a product for approval, Pro merchants will receive priority which guarantees the fastest approval time possible.
9) These selling fees represent the amount that we charge on successful sales. The selling fee is calculated on the total selling price and deducted immediately prior to crediting the merchant for the sale. This fee is in addition to the fee that the merchant will need to pay Paypal however the Paypal fee will only be charged on the final amount being received by the merchant (after the selling fee and affiliate component have been removed). These selling fees are waived after 200 sales on any given promo. Please refer to our selling fees page for further details.
